We think in generations
Bergbahnen Sölden has been under the management of Jakob Falkner for over 40 years, who is shaping the future of the company together with his team and authorised signatory Philipp Falkner. This management duo combines experience and fresh ideas to drive innovation and preserve values.

Responsibility for the region
Thanks to our deep roots in Sölden and the entire Ötztal, we know the needs not only of our guests but also of the local population. This proximity enables us to make decisions that ensure sustainable benefits for all. At the same time, we consciously take responsibility for the development of the valley in cooperation with other important players in the region.
This is reflected, among other things, in the promotion of local public transport, through which we facilitate access to the mountain railways and other regional highlights and reduce private transport.
A strong network
In addition, Bergbahnen Sölden are owners or shareholders in companies such as AREA47, Bergbahnen Hochoetz, the Aqua Dome and Hotel Das Central. These strategic investments enable us to actively contribute to the further development of the entire region. Our aim is to strengthen Ötztal as a year-round destination and to make it both economically and ecologically future-proof.
