Restaurant Schwarzkogl
Freeflow meets a la carte
One becomes two - after an extensive relaunch, the Schwarzkogl Restaurant in Sölden has completely changed for the 2024/2025 winter season. The popular stop-off point has been divided into two sections for different requirements and the menu has also been redesigned.
A stop for every taste
Following a comprehensive renovation, the Bergbahnen Sölden present themselves with a modern look, an optimised concept and a new culinary experience. The premises, which were previously used purely as a self-service restaurant, have been redesigned and adapted to different needs. For a quick and uncomplicated stop, the free-flow area offers efficient self-service and flexible catering. Guests who want to take time for a longer break and enjoy excellent service will find their place in the à la carte restaurant. A cosy bar with a seating area rounds off the offer and invites you to warm up and linger.
‘Our aim was to unite the different needs of winter sports enthusiasts under one roof.’
Günter Margreiter, Project manager
Area 47 in Sölden
The catering team of Austria's largest outdoor leisure park, a 100% subsidiary of Bergbahnen Sölden, spoils guests in winter in the Schwarzkogl restaurant. Up to 30 employees benefit from a year-round position and contribute their experience and high service quality. The refurbishment began in July 2024, planned and implemented by architects Wimreiter & Partner. The result: a modern design in the AREA 47 look, characterised by lots of wood, blue fabrics and stylish accents that create a harmonious atmosphere. The seamless transition between the self-service area and the à la carte restaurant emphasises the well thought-out redesign.
