Our portfolio
If you think Bergbahnen Sölden is only about ski lifts, slopes, or bike trails, think again. Our company not only operates the 31 lift facilities in the Sölden ski area but also owns and manages several successful business ventures, including six mountain gastronomy establishments (two of which are leased), the 5-star hotel Das Central in Sölden, and the road house Rastland Nassereith on the Fern Pass.
But that’s just part of our diverse portfolio. With a strong regional focus, we also operate AREA 47, an adventure park at the entrance of the Ötztal valley, and hold strategic investments in the Aqua Dome thermal spa, the Hochoetz ski lift company, the Ötztaler Transport Company (ÖVG), and SnowWorld Bispingen, a ski hall near Hamburg. Together, we are shaping the future of tourism—both in the Ötztal valley and beyond.
Winter world
Sölden is one of the highest ski resorts in the Alps, with slopes up to 3,250 metres above sea level. The mountain lifts have also been investing in high-performance snow-making facilities and optimised grooming for years. This guarantees a consistent quality experience on the 144 kilometres of ski slopes from autumn right through to May.

Summer world
Bergbahnen Sölden also sets the tone during the summer months: the two-wheeler paradise BIKE REPUBLIC SÖLDEN and the numerous hiking trails showcase the Ötztal's summery nature in the form of distinctive offers.

Events
High above Sölden, the annual Ski World Cup kick-off on the Rettenbach glacier heralds the start of the winter season. At the Electric Mountain Festival, top international DJs create a great atmosphere every year. Every two years, the glacier becomes a stage for modern art with the open-air production HANNIBAL. Throughout the year, Sölden also attracts visitors with a varied programme of events to suit every taste.
