Our planned projects
Innovations & insights
At Bergbahnen Sölden, there is always a new project in the starting blocks - whether it's a new lift, measures to ensure snow safety, the expansion of the gastronomic offer or the improvement of safety for our guests. If you are interested in these projects with all the data, facts and insights into the planning and development, you have come to the right place.

Slope connection
The piste link between the Gaislachkogl and Giggijoch ski resorts is set to be completed in time for the 2026/27 winter season, allowing skiers to switch between the two resorts with ease - even on stormy days when other lifts are out of operation.

New Construction "Silberbrünnl"
Until 1993, a double-chairlift was in operation, followed by a 4-seater chairlift – the lift facilities at "Silberbrünnl" are among the classics in Sölden. Starting in November 2025, the success story will continue: With the third generation, a state-of-the-art 8-seater chairlift, Bergbahnen Sölden is focusing on higher transport capacity, top-notch comfort, and the use of AI technology.

New Construction "Einzeiger"
With the start of the 2025/26 ski season, the transition from the winter ski area to the slopes at the Rettenbach and Tiefenbach glaciers will become even more comfortable. This is made possible by the new 8-seater chairlift "Einzeiger," which impresses with a transport capacity of 4,000 people per hour and a ride time of just about 3.5 minutes.
