Training Conditions

  • The reservation confirmation for the training slope is based on the assumption that snow conditions will be similar to those of previous years and that the training area can be groomed to the same extent for the teams. Since significant changes could occur due to temperature and precipitation levels, we ask that you contact Bergbahnen Sölden again one week before your arrival at +43 (0)5254 508
  • The respective team managers/coaches are solely responsible for conducting training on the designated courses. Bergbahnen Sölden assumes no responsibility or liability, including toward third parties. Instructions from lift and slope personnel must be strictly followed. All training teams are instructed to properly implement the measures necessary for the safe conduct of a race or training session so that no additional tasks fall to the slope operator. The preparation of the slope, as well as the construction of a starting hill, does not imply that the slope operator assumes any additional responsibility. The fall zone, particularly in relation to public ski slopes, must be maintained in accordance with the requirements.
  • The training group agrees to train exclusively in the assigned sector. Within each sector, the first course must always be laid out starting from the edge and running as parallel as possible to the boundary; subsequent courses must run parallel to the previous one.
  • If there are too few bookings in a particular run, runs may be combined on short notice. In this case, bookings will be reassigned to another run with a slope angle and length that are as similar as possible, in order to continue ensuring training conditions that are as comparable as possible. Bergbahnen Sölden always strives to provide a suitable alternative.
  • When booking, you must specify the exact daily training time slot. - Fall training sessions on the glacier: 8:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m., starting at 11:30 a.m., or all day  - Winter training sessions: 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., starting at 12:30 p.m., or all day.
  • Training times must be strictly adhered to, and the training courses must be cleared in a timely manner to make way for any teams that follow.
  • The final assignment is made daily right at the start of the training courses by the person in charge upon presentation of the reservation/booking confirmation.
  • Should weather conditions or other external factors result in a change to the slope assignments, Bergbahnen Sölden will make every effort to provide appropriate training opportunities.
  • The course must be marked according to the assigned “Skiers Right” number. This number is assigned the day before during the coaches’ meeting and can be viewed at Rettenbach - between the ticket booth and the panoramic display - as well as at Tiefenbach, across from Sport Riml (left monitor). Alternatively, the assignment can also be accessed online
  • Our management determines the operating hours for each lift system based on weather and temperature conditions.
  • No fir or spruce branches, dyes, snow cement, etc., may be used. The designated slope manager coordinates all preparation measures and arrangements.
  • Damaged poles, trash, and other materials must be disposed of properly. If this requirement is repeatedly disregarded, Bergbahnen Sölden reserves the right to ban the offender from the slopes.
  • All athletes, coaches, and support staff - without exception - need ski passes!
  • By making a reservation, the person making the reservation expressly agrees that information such as name, team/club, and head coach may be used and displayed on the monitors for the attendance summary.
